From 25 July to 3 August the 2019 edition of the Trasimeno Blues Festival will be staged which, with the usual itinerant formula, will bring the warm notes of the Blues, in its innumerable declinations and contaminations with other musical genres, in the squares of medieval villages and more suggestive natural settings around Lake Trasimeno.
An exciting musical journey in the green heart of Italy that will involve 4 municipalities of the lake district in the province of Perugia (Castiglione del Lago, Panicale, Passignano and Tuoro): 10 different stages will host 22 concerts to explore all the nuances of Black Music, from the roots of the Blues to the most innovative musical avant-gardes; from acoustic Blues to electric Blues, from Desert Blues to Rock, Soul and Funk, from Swing to Jazz, Country and Folk, from Afro-Beat to Reggae and Nu-Soul.
Scheduled concerts every evening at 9.30pm and, during weekends, even afternoon musical appointments, as well as midnight concerts and jam sessions in the Trasimeno music venues. Distant cultures intertwine, tradition and innovation mix, between music and poetry, images and rhythm, also giving rise to a series of collateral events such as The Blues Dinner on the Lake (dinners-concerts at sunset on the lake), meetings with the artists , the painting exhibition "Mother Earth" by Pamela Pucci and the presentation of the book by Roberto Caselli "The History of the Blues".
