Returning to “Monte Acuto” from the art and the nature that Umbria has to offer, you can refresh and relax in our pool, which as a new service has the water consistently at an ideal temperature.
From the 25th of April until the end of September the WATER of our pool is THERMO REGULATED allowing you to swim in Spring as if were SUMMER.
The pool service is free and each apartment has the use of one table with chairs, an umbrella, reclining lounge chair and one tanning bed. |
| The guest APARTMENTS have been exquisitely restored with handsome woodwork, cabinetry and simple, yet elegant, furnishings.
All apartments have bath, kitchen and fireplace and TV.

| Olive oil is the most ancient product of this land and our farm has been producing it from centuries. The farm Monte Acuto has a certification by AIAB for ORGANIC FARMING since it is producing its EXTRA VIRGIN ORGANIC OLIVE OIL by using the superior cold press method that preserves its genuine nature and high quality. You will find some of our olive oil in your apartment to enjoy, possibly in a "bruschetta" (toasted bread) made on the fireplace. Our oil is available for purchase at our Agriturismo. |

Umbria, an historic farming region, offers a simple but very tasty cuisine using foods from the land. The gardens offer fresh vegetables and fruit; the olive fields delightful oil; the pigs world-famous SALUMI; the cows TENDER MEAT for juicy steaks; the rivers and the Trasimeno lake offer CARP, TROUT, PIKE, MULLET and ROCK BASS; the woods special MUSHROOMS; from the Valnerina BLACK TRUFFLES, LENTILS and CHEESE; and from the Alta Valle del Tevere especially the area of Gubbio and Gualdo WHITE TRUFFLES. On top of all this, the hills and their grapevines delight us with SCENTED WINE to accompany all these healthy and precious gifts from the land. |
For dining we have arrangements with some very good restaurants in the neighborhood, one in particular is only 2Km away from the farm and it is possibile to make a half-board agreement.
It is very easy to reach ASSISI, GUBBIO, CITTA’ DI CASTELLO, PERUGIA and the TRASIMENO LAKE from the farm.
From our location in the ALTA VALLE DEL TEVERE it takes only 30 minutes to reach TUSCANY. The closest cities are: CORTONA, ANGHIARI, CAPRESE MICHELANGELO (where MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI was born).
In 90 minutes you can be in FLORENCE or SIENA, and ROME is only two hours distant.

For lovers of SPORT and natural pursuits one can find paths for TREKKING, mountain-biking and walking in the grounds of the farm. Other facilities available for guests include: archery, table tennis, bagatelle table and a children's play area.

For barbecue lovers we have two choices :
small BARBECUE or BRAZIER that can host a maximum of 10 grills at the same time, good for tasting the great Umbrian meat with good company. |
| During the cold winter days you can relax by the FIREPLACE and grill your steak since there is a fireplace in every apartment (firewood included). |

To 5 km. from the farm, along the course of the Tevere, a field is found international contest that can satisfy all gets passionate of peach. Where in 2005 the WORLD FISHING CHAMPIOSHIP FOR CLUBS took place. |
OTHER SERVICES:
In the respect of the traditions we try to give of the services to the step with the times, that is why this year we have introduced HIGH-SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION, free in each apartment. If you have to work or just have fun now you can plug your computer here in the farm without having to search for an internet point.
The guests have the option to use a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and an iron.
When the weather is bad, guests can use the game room.
Each apartment has its own INDIPENDENT HEATING SYSTEM. The temperature at your arrival is always set at 22 degrees celcius.
